Salut à tous, voici la charron girardot voigt de 1906 donnée par beaucoup comme étant une des premières automitrailleuse vraie de l'histoire avec l'austro-daimler. Ce modèle totalement blindé est une évolution de la première mouture datant de 1902, suite à une demande de la russie tsariste. Allez voir l'excellent site chars français . La maquette est de la firme française JMGT . La maquette en résine se compose d'une dizaine de pièces en résine jaune pâle de qualité correcte sans grosses carottes et sans bulles et de quelques pièces en vacuform pour les garde-boue et les rails de franchissement, la notice est simple mais claire.


 Hi all, here is the 1906 charron girardot voigt french armored car given by many to be one of the first true armored car in history with the Austro-Daimler one. This model is an evolution completely armored from the first version from 1902, following a request of Tsarist Russia. Go to the excellent site chars français .The model is of the French firm JMGT. The resin model consists of few parts in pale yellow resin of satisfactory quality without large excesses and bubble-free and some parts Vacuform for fender and rail crossing, the assembly instructions are simple but clear.

 On commence avec la caisse. Comme je trouvais les gravures pas franchement nettes (porte, découpes des fenètres blindées) et comme il manquait un bon paquet de rivets, j'ai préféré refaire le tout avec de la carte plastique fine. Ca n'est pas très compliqué mais juste un peu long. Sur les photos, on voit le début du détaillage de la caisse, il en reste encore à faire (avant, arrière, toit etc...).


 We start with the body. As I found the details not really sharp (doors, windows) and as a lot of rivets were missing, I decided to redo everything with thin plastic card. It's not very complicated, but just a little long. In the photos, we see the beginning of the detailing of the body, it remains to be done (front, rear, roof etc ...).

Suite du montage avec la partie arrière. Un gros morceau, les garde-boue avant qui sont reproduits en feuille d'alu. Pas mal de temps passé d'autant qu'il faut repositionner les axes de roues (un peu haut et en avant comparé à la notice). J'ai choisi la première version de la charron avec les garde-boue plongeants très bas.


 Following the assembly with the rear. Lot of work with the front fenders which are reproduced in aluminum foil. A lot of time spent to reposition the wheel axles (just above and in front compared to the instructions). I chose the first version of the wheelwright, with fenders going down very low.

La suite avec le toit et les trappes de vision qui sont rondes sur le premier modèle, charnières, et le système de relevage de la plaque blindée avant.

le modèle terminé avant peinture avec les améliorations sur la tourelle. Le pourtour en rivets, le rail qui supporte et renforce l'affut de la mitrailleuse, les charnières et la protection de la mitrailleuse en feuille d'emballage alu.
